(Song Series XVI) - Why I wrote 'Valley of Death'

This is my personal favorite track on this album together with I Hate Religion and Fight. This is so different and progressive. The way song is put together is kind of strange since it starts off with two choruses.

The lyrics are basically an interpretation of Psalm 23.

Back in the 80's a Swedish band, Leviticus, did this psalm and I really liked that song. The verses in my song is heavily inspired by how they put it all together.

God bless!

(This is the 16th song in the series!)

Through the Valley of Death
I am not afraid to walk
Even though the shadows lure
Through the valley of death

Through the valley of death
Through my darkest night
Even when there is no light
Through the valley of death

When I walk through the valley of shadow and death
I fear no evil cos God strengthen me
When I walk through the deep and through the dark
I keep the flame burning Satan leave me be

Through the Valley of Death
I am not afraid ....

Lead me by still waters Lead me to places of peace
In the paths of the righteous let all evil cease
As my enemies watch let em see your love
Aoint me with power from heaven above

Through the Valley of Death
I am not afraid to walk
Even though the shadows lure
Through the valley of death

Through the valley of death
Through my darkest night
Even when there is no light
Through the valley of death
