For the moment being; I am still setting up the Studio. There have been a few setbacks and the level of commitment has been fairly low. However; strategies has been deployed and finally there is a kind of light in the tunnel.
Anyway; the decision is final. On April 1st I will start recording new material both for Daevidius and even for other projects.

Puh... for the last month or so I have taken upon myself to reinvestigate all the material and songs I have not yet recorded to decide what to do with it. Some it was to be archived, some were meant to be completed and some of them needed more love and care. And today was the day when it all was completed. And it feels good to have come this far. Some songs and riffs has impressed me and I even asked myself why I havent recorded it. The coming months will be really fun.
Rearranging and writing new and old will start shortly!

The last week(s) I have been evaluating and listen to ALL the things I have saved from the last 10 years of creativity. And it is nice to see how I have developed and grown. In some parts I can sometimes marvel over the descisions which songs to record and which not to. I might record some of the songs and release. Only time will tell.

Still learning new. I have learned so much. Travelled new roads and old roads as well. So how far have I travelled? Well now I have tested out bass, guitar, drums and keyboards including setting up Halion and beginnning to learning symphony orchestra.
Really nice to note that all the drum sets programmed in Superior Drummer for the last years is for sure to be used in Cubase. They sound so much better with the new engine.
Remaining is setting up vocals including building vocal booth. There will also be more extended work with guitar sound, keyboard sounds and new drum sets. So much to do, still so little time.

The process with new studiogear and learning a "new" DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) is still on. And for sure, will continue for quite a while. I learned new tricks of the trade. But there is really one thing right now blowing my mind. Just before I started installing the new studio computer I said a short prayer from my heart to God about the studio room being a place of creativity. The last month has been a rollercoaster of emotions but really; I must say God answered my prayer. How? Well; I have learned new tricks by myself not trusting on others or youtube first hand. The Holy Spirit talks to me in his small voice and I have started to believe in my own capability and my own way of solving upcoming issues. And I am 100% sure this is due to that little prayer. So grateful and enjoyess.

What can I say? So much learned, so much gained but still so long way from home. Or is it? Anyway; still in the making of the perfect environment for recording and producing new music. Right now I just put aside all kind of writing since the time is precious. The focus is on the machine. And what can I say? I have spent the last week exploring old ground i.e. old software and hardware. And it is nice to find out some of the old stuff still works. But it takes time. You know; 10 years of backups and material takes time to test.
So far I have managed to create a new bass sound or really several new sounds in several styles. Right now I am working on new guitar sounds. And some of my friends will be involved in this process.
