Nothing new but it is inspiring

We are still working on new songs. And it looks like, at last, new songs are coming quite quickly, Hope and pray this trend will continue. And right now we are preparing to record. There will be new ways of doing things that need to be learned.

Progress?

We are still working on songs for the New album. In the making right now is a song called Gates Of Hell and it will be a blast.

The plan is to write a song every week. Keep your fingers crossed and we will began to record in the autumn.

Jesus is risen

Happy Easter and A blessed Good Friday!

Daevidius would just like to wish you all Happy Easter on Good Friday 2016. Daevidius celebrate Easter to remember Jesus Christ. He died for us so that we can live with Him (1 Thessalonians 5:10)

Focus paying off

I remember when I was a young man. My mother told how great it was that I had so many ideas but that I have to do one thing at a time. Did I really listen? No, I did not. I still have so many dreams and plans and so little time.

Last weekend I decided that my only goal for my time off from work was just to write one song. At first I thought it would take me three hours. I took me appr. seven hours. But guess if I was glad. I achieved my goal!

So now my goal for the coming months are to complete a song every week. If I can stick to my new plan it will result Daevidius will have enough songs for the third album.

Time to focus

The last days I have been sick. And as a result you have to slow down a little bit. Maybe think about what you are doing. In my case my brain is always all around the place all the time. And sometimes there is a bit of revelation. It may be God speaking in the silence.

The conclusion of all this: It is time to focus on one thing at a time. For Daevidius this  is now all about songwriting. No more time to waste to write those ten songs for the next album. Can I write one song every week. It should really be no problem at all.
