Finalizing the album

 Finally!!! Now I have recorded all guitar, bass and drum tracks for the upcoming album. During the next 2 weeks I will record the vocals. In to my studio I have seen to that 4 guitarists will record the solos. It will be a blast!

In mid december the mixing will be start. Right now I have two alternatives, we will see which one it will be. The plan is also to begin to rehearse for gigs in 2012. 

Album update

Tonight Henke Algotsson was in the studio and laid down some guitars. As usual it was a blast and he nailed the song Unborn like nothing. Tomorrow my song coach and friend Håkan Algotsson will stop by and learn me a few tricks of the trade. Looking forward to tomorrow =)

Album progress

A day turns into yet another day... We have no reached mid November 2011 and the winter is soon here. The progress on the album is looking good. I am learning very much right now about the recordning process. This week I will hopefully learn more how to use my voice. The plans also include laying down solos and begin to mix some of the recorded material.

The plan is still to have finished recording all material during november 2011. I keep my fingers crossed.

Drummer J.K. visited

Yesterday evening Janne Korva came by for a cup of coffee. We talked about music and shared some ideas. I think yesterday evening will be a restart for the band... We are still concentrating on making the album and if everything work out as planned we will finish the recordings in november 2011.

Album coverart and booklet finalized

Today I went down to Harlösa ouside of Lund and visited NastyHeart Art. We worked for three hours and decided the design. The next step will be to secure the lyrics and finalize them. During this and the next week contact the printers to see how much the production of the album will cost.

New Sologuitarist

Tonight, the 11th of October Ive been jamming with Klas Olcén. So far so good, it worked out fine. At the end of this week we all will know if Daevidius will have a new guitar player =) Keep our fingers crossed.

Friday 16th of September - Photo Sessions

I went down to Harlösa outside of Lund and met up with Maria at NastyHeart Art. We took on a two hour long session outside in the beautiful september weather. The resultat was amazing and some of the pictures will be in the booklet for the album
