In my vaults there was a composition or rock song namned 'Freedome is coming'. This is an old one; I wont disclose how old; but it has been a travel companion for quite a time. Actually; it was in the discussions to be on the last album ('Beyond') but it was vaulted. I picked it up this time and at first I planned to record and release it as it was. Then; due to personal changes in my view about myself and how I now look at the world around me and the future to come, I said no. Why not change the lyrics to be more on the positive side? Why not be a little more prophetic and seeing with the inner eye? So I quickly rewrote the lyrics and title from being in the future to a status of already have come to pass. This lead to the new lyrics and title; FREE!
This is the travel from freedome is coming to freedome is already here!
God bless!
Today I finished recording demo stage 4 for the vocals. In this, the last song I wrote for the album, Overthrow, was the last one to be recorded. And it is funny how the process works; I wrote some new melodies today, just to record them half an hour later.
Now the next step is add harmonies to the melodies if needed.
God bless!
Yesterday I went to Ingvar Bengtsson at Mindvoice. As told earlier in this blog; I have had issues with my vokal performance since november 2025 but the session in january and now; this one yesterday; together with Ingvar opened my eyes. I am now slowly rebuilding, reactivating and taking bigger steps to a greater voice. I was almost moved to tears how great it sounded.
In this leap upward; I have added new warmup songs to build strength in a new way. I have really high hopes for the future. And below; the first version of this new list (this will be updated of course):
* Song 2 (Blur)
* Everlong (Foo Fighters)
* Symphony of Destruction (Megadeth)
* For Whom the bell tolls (Metallica)
* Windowpane (Opeth)
* Hallelujah (Nordman)
God bless!
Due to unbelief and sickness in my voice I put off recording vocals for a long time now. But a few days ago I picked up the axe again. I started recorded on a couple of songs. The thing is; my voice is not back on track yet; still; I managed to update the melodies even further and I am quite pleased with the progress this far. The true silver lining with the sickness is I have to really focus on my technique and it is a good thing. All I need now is a lot of time and when I put everything in the right order I will overcome.
Stay tuned!
God bless!
