How to sing Better than Anyone Else - Version 3.0 - Volume 2

Today I have started yet another adventure. Or more correctly; took another step of becoming a much more greater vocalist. Yesterday I posted about the completion of the first volume of Ken Tamplin Vocal Academy. Today I spent some hours in starting up volume 2. And I must say; it is so thrilling.

How to sing Better than Anyone Else - Version 3.0 - Volume 1

Today I reached a mile stone. I completed volume 1 of the excellent Ken Tamplin course 'How to sing better han anyone else Volume 1'. And boy, the journey has just begun. The vocal recordings I am doing right now is on a new level and it feels like I am just a child the more I learn.

The wheels are turning... to the Studio

Everyting worth doing takes a long time doing.... Well, too much worktime outside the music halted the process a bit. And for sure; one more bump in the road is, as always, the idea to rewrite songs just as they are to be recorded. Still there is some more things to be done and some more things to be written but today I opened up the gates to the creativity again. I am now preparing all tracks to be recorded by creating the templates needed. This time around it will be different to the other times.

New setlist for upcoming EP

After a completly awesome session Friday 7th of October where I tested out about 70% of the songs in the progress folders the setlist for the upcoming EP changed. This was done during a day of fasting and silence. Can it be God talking to me? I think so.

The new setlist is (order might change): 

1. Beyond Reality (Instrumental)
2. Beyond
3. War in my Soul (Short play)
4. War in my Soul (Long Play)
5. King of Kings
6. Freedome is Coming
7. My Saviour, My brother My Lord
8. Fight (released 2014; now in new version)

Now it seems like it will almost a full album. Let it be so! And note; this will for sure not be the last version of this, I am for sure

Better pitch with KTVA

For some time now I have been a member of Ken Tamplin Vocal Academy and the last year I have made major progress in my singing. One of the major factors in this progress is Ken Tamplin as well as my personal Vocal Coach Solveig Hagman.

Today I started of a new section in the Ken Tamplin Vocal Academy regarding Better Pitch. I have received quite a lot of critique regarding my vocals and I hope these new exercises will adress and correct these issues. The road ahead is always striving forward and believing in the future and the gift of singing. This is just another stepping stone.

Finally... In the Studio

 Finally... Today I started recording for the new EP. Still I am working on some material to be finalized shortly. It was really a thrill to start recording. And it was really nice to use flute for the first time in a Daevidius song. This will be free minded and different I hope and still Heavy Metal.

The new EP SONGLIST

Yesterday it was decided how many songs and which songs on the EP. The tracklist is:

* Beyond Reality (Instrumental)
* Beyond
* War on our souls
* Hour of Freedome
* My Saviour My Brother My Lord

The titles maybe alter. And the songs will be rewritten now or maybe even in the recording phase.

The working title for this EP is "The Last Chapter"
