Just another day gone by... Right now I have time off work and I realize how privileged I am. Yeah of course it would be nice to just live off writing, recording and producing music. On the other hand I have no boss or anything like that, I am free in to create whatever I like.
Today the weather has been perfect for a musician. Not that much sun, not really a chance to have a good time on the beach. So why not rearrange the vocal booth a bit and record (re-record really...) some stuff to see if the quality would be better. And I think it did get better.
I am still in the learning process of producing but I am learning and it is fun. And there is light in the end of the tunnel.
Maybe you missed our latest album, released August 2014. It has been a while but it is still good. And good stuff won't get older, right? Support what we do and buy our stuff.
Yesterday I went to the tattoo-studio Zo Tattoo in Malmö, Sweden and got my second tattoo. A few years back I decided to tattoo my body with tattoos that matter to me. This second one is a mix between the Alpha Omega and the Chi Rho. Chi Ro stands for Jesus Christ. Alpha Omega stands for Jesus being the beginning and the end of all things.
“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, y“who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.” (Revelations 1:8)
I have other tattoos planned but for now we keep the testimony on my body like this
In life we sometimes struggle with the meaning of life. Some struggle more than others, some seems to live life in the easy lane. I think we can agree life in itself is not always just. I believe in order for life to get real meaning you need to have a purpose, a mission.
Daevidius writes and plays music with a mission. We believe in Jesus Christ and he is the only way to God. There are no other ways. And God loves all of us no matter what we have done. Or what we have done. We believe in relationship with God and the Holy Trinity. We dont believe in religion. We are the opposite of religion.
Sad to say so many believers are judgemental and are focused on the sins instead of the people. Watch the video below when Brian Head Welch talks about this issue:

Rocker Brian Welch Plays Metal With A Mission (Extended Interview)
During the summertime it can be hard to work efficient. And this year has been a fun ride but not that much time to spend on producing and writing. I am right now catching up and have just started a new phase that I have planned for a long time. Many plans have been in the pipeline for a long time but now, at last, I begin to see light in the tunnel.
One of many things I have been having in pipeline is producing, in other words recording, mixing and mastring. It seems right now as this will come to life. I have prayed to God to help me out. And for the first time in my life I think it is fun and I can focus.
So be patient, material will come out during the fall of 2017!
This is kind of a story about being a soldier in the spirtual realm. At first it all seems glorious and no problem to found anywhere. But the hardships of life tends to break us down sometimes. When we are in the midst of the battle and all seems lost it is hard to stay focused. But God is always there. No matter what.
