(Song Series XI) - Why I wrote 'I Hate Religion'

The theme of the song 'I Hate Religion' has been around in my mind for so long before coming to realisation. I think the idea of the song emerged around 2002. In my mind this is one of my best moments, I really love this song.

At a first glance you might think I hate God as a concept. That is not a correct way to understand it. This song deals with bigotry in religion and the structure of power they often represent. We don't need religion, we need true friendship with an almighty living loving God Jesus Christ. So many religions seems nice and proper but they don't bring life or love. The only way to heaven is through Jesus Christ, not religion or pius deeds. No deed we do can achieve salvation.

So many religious people, even including ourselves, does not show the way to heaven. No they close the door and the gates and denies entry for all. Let's get rid of religion and strive for relationship with God Jesus Christ! Hate Religion but Love God!

Dreams come true?

Today I woke up after having a totally awesome dream. I dreamt about a international recording was taking place in my Home Studio. A semi-famous jazzdrummer who owns a studio I recorded in a few years back came knocking on my door with gears and stuff with him. He cleaned out the whole Home Studio and put in bassamps och began to setup things. Other musicians turned up; people I've recorded and played with before, people I am planning on working togeter with. And my sons were there as well. Could this be a prophetic dream? (Song Series X) - Why I wrote 'M.P.W.G.' (Time for 'Valley of Death' album)

Time for album number 2! On this song I've decided just to have eight songs. From the start it was meant to be 10 songs but I decided to exclude the songs 'Freedome is Coming' and 'King of Kings'.
They simply just did not work and in the end I think was meant to be

So, the first song the album 'VALLEY OF DEATH' is M.P.W.G. The music is inspired by Iron Maiden and the way they wrote some of the songs on 'Somewhere in Time' and especially the song 'Deja-Vu'.

The lyrics is a neat story about someone who is on the edge of dying and calls out to God. Thsi can be applied in all situations in life. It is never too late to call out to God to be saved! Not until you are dead anyway.

(Song Series IX) - Why I wrote 'Leave This Town'

This is the last song on the album 'THE DEMON AND THE ANGEL'. This was one of the first songs I decided to be on that album. I really love this song. It was first recorded back in 2009 for a never released demo and it is written in 2006.

The lyrics has two different focuses. Focus one is how tired you and I can become of the evil of this world. Focus two is a more hidden one. You and I are just guests here, we belong to another world and to another city. The train is leaving for a better world.

(Song Series VIII) - Why I wrote 'Dead N Gone'

I strongly believe that death is just the beginning. Why fear death if we know that we live on? And why fear death when we transfer over to a new and better place, a universe without noone lack? Free at last, maybe? And this song is a comfort to those left behind. Don't be sad, we will meet again.

It is so easy to get stuck online. But sometimes you find real gold out there. I am taking lessons at a totally awesome vocalcoach and in order for me to progress even further I search for new tools.
