Studio update: New Monitors

Today; finally we have updated the monitors in the studio. For good assistance I had my friend Rickard G over. The cables were not fitting so they had to  be replaced by new ones. Now the last phase of the premix and altering can be finished properly.

The new monitors are Adam 5V.

Run for cover

Last weekend I got the first draft of the new cover from the artist Maria Farnestam. This weekend we have taken yet bigger steps and in a few weeks I think we have the coverart completed.

I am thrilled and excited; this will be good.

It is fulfilled

And so it is.... It is fulfilled. The last piece in the puzzle... Tonight we recorded the last solo (for Revelator). The excellent Anders Jönsson made it sound really good. All remaining now is full attention to mixing. We are still waiting for some hardware, hopefully we get it this week.

Mixing in process + Design of coverart

The latest two weeks has been intense and now we can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Two days ago we worked hard in the mixing and now it begins to sound really good. We have had some technical difficulties with some software but we now are on our way.

Worth mentioning is as well the process with covers design. Our artist Maria Farnestam has presented the first versions of the cover and I think it will be really good.
