Recording vocals

Wonderful it is this day just a few days before christmas. Today I had a meeting with a suberb singer and discussed recording vocals. He offered me a deal I cant turn down. thanks Rikard! I just can say, without saying anything at all, the vocals on the next album will be awesome. Cheers and Merry Christmas every one.

Time to record

The work on next album is in progress. Tonight Ive started preparing templates in Logic in order for me to record som new amazing tracks. This album will be concept album, working title "War". So arise all you Warriors and Unite, Fight!

Songs for new album

Today I have completed five new songs for the new album due to be released in 2013. Cool!

Dee at HelgeÅFestivalen 24-25 Aug

Songwritting in progress

Last week I wrote the first song for the next album. Really, it is an old song rearranged with some new riffs... Hopefully I will write two new songs this week ...

Deliverance!

 Today we got the goods delivered. A package weighing 39kg was delivered and already I have sold a few copies!! Maybe we can get a distribution deal as well!!!

The album is in production

Today I spoke with Discreplication who will print and manufacture the album The Demon and The Angel. All music, coding and graphics is OK and the album in the production line. Preliminary Delivery date 22nd of May !!!

Coverart completed

Finally; after three weeks of work the coverart and cd design was completed in association with Maria Farnestam. It is really nice !!! Down below you have an example of the cover !!!

Mix for the album done

Yesterday night at 08.00 PM we closed the door on the mix. All is set and done and now we can master the album. Hopefully we are done with the mastering this weekend.

First taste for my ears only

I am so happy and thrilled!!! Just an hour ago I have heard a taste of the mix of the album. It already sounds great, this will be a thrill. I am really wating for the album to be done :D

At last we shipped the files to the mixer today. We are waiting for the resultat with great thrills.
Rock on till we know more

All songs recorded at last

Finally we have decided to move on !! All guitars, basses, keyboards are recorded; a first rough mix of the drums are done. Later this week we will ship it all for the mixing to begin !! Hallelujah!!

Soon and very soon

Yesterday drummer boy was here and we altered some more drums. Today growl song was added to one song, it will be pure evil... If everything runs as smoothly as I want too, next week the whole album will be sent for the mix. God bless U all!!

Singing in the winterland

Earlier this week I listened to the vocal recordings Ive done. I realized I could do better. So today Ive recorded new choruses on Leave Me Alone, Dead N Gone and Unborn. Cheers!

New vocals added

Right after work today ( I finished really early today...) I went into the Studio. I managed to record vocals for the last four songs. Let us hope and pray it is good enough and doesnt require to much work next week. Anyway; we now have three songs complete to send to mixing. I am so glad :D

More vocals laid

Yesterday I got home early from work and could start some singing. I made it through three songs before all my energy was gone. I hope I can record all songs during this week. The songs I recorded vocals for was: Traveller, The Demon and The Angel and Leave Me Alone.

Tonight Janne Korva will stop by and we will remodel some of the drum tracks. I can see the light in the end of the tunnel now ...

Last Solos added

Today is a day for celebration :D Anders Jönsson came by and laid down the last two solos for Heaven Or Hell and The Demon and The Angel. I also added the vocals for Heaven Or Hell and it went down well. Next in pipeline is to adjust all drumtracks except that for Heaven Or Hell and record some vocals.

Album progress

The work with the album continues... Bad news first: The last week I have had a cold. Yesterday I tried to record vocals for three songs. At first I thought it went down well. After a few hours I listened to my work and realized it sounded a little bit sour. I mean; you could hear I was struggling on notes I normally do without problem. So now I am curing myself with tea, honey, gingerale and all kinds of medicine.

Anyway; tuesday Joakim Sandgren was here and recorded a solo for Leave Me Alone. Wednesday our drummer Janne Korva came by and we began to work with the drum track for Heaven Or Hell and it went down really well.
